Join us for the third edition of our DEBUT AUTHORS NIGHT, with readings from Laura Kaye, author of English Animals, and Luiza Sauma, author of Flesh and Bone and Water.
LAURA KAYE grew up in rural Oxfordshire. She worked in television for ten years on music documentaries before her debut novel English Animals was published by Little, Brown in 2017. In 2011 she took a year out of work to do the MA in Creative & Life Writing at Goldsmiths and then did a further year of study at the Centre for New Writing at Manchester University. She lives in London.
LUIZA SAUMA was born in Rio de Janeiro and raised in London. She worked at the Independent on Sunday for several years and has an MA in Creative & Life Writing from Goldsmiths, where she won the Pat Kavanagh Award in 2014. Her debut novel, Flesh and Bone and Water, is published by Viking in the UK and Scribner in North America.
