Dodo Ink Showcase

Join us for a special showcase of three authors from indie press Dodo Ink: Seraphina Madsen, Neil Griffiths and James Miller. The writers will be reading from and discussing their work. Come along and support this fantastic independent press and have a glass of mulled wine!
The event will be chaired by Jude Cook.
JAMES MILLER is a novelist and academic. His previous novels, LOST BOYS, a disturbing re-imagining of ‘Peter Pan’ for the War on Terror, and SUNSHINE STATE, were published by Little, Brown. His third novel, UNAMERICAN ACTIVITIES, was published by Dodo Ink in 2017. He is senior lecturer in English literature and Creative Writing at Kingston University and is Course Director for the Creative Writing MFA.
NEIL GRIFFITHS is the author of Betrayal in Naples, winner of the Authors’ Club Best First Novel, and Saving Caravaggio, short-listed for the Costa Novel of the Year – both published by Penguin. His third novel, As A God Might Be, was published by Dodo Ink in 2017 and described by Joanna Kavenna as ‘a monumental achievement’. He is also the founder of the Republic of Consciousness Prize for Small Presses. He lives in London.
SERAPHINA MADSEN was born in San Rafael, California and grew up on both the East and West Coasts of the United States. She taught English in France for four years and has lived in Germany, The Netherlands, and Sweden. She has an MA from Kingston university and lives in London. Her debut novel, Dodge and Burn, a beautifully written psychedelic road trip, was published by Dodo Ink in 2016.
