Eliza Henry-Jones, Patrick Langley, Nadia Attia in conversation, chaired by Catherine Madden

Get ready for spooky season with these three magical novels that offer contemporary takes on the myths from Lands’ End to the Shetlands, as the lines between past and present slip. Nadia Attia’s Verge takes an uncanny road trip across a future disunited kingdom where the ghosts of horses run, Eliza Henry-Jones’ Salt & Skin dives into the witch trials and folklore of Scotland’s Northern Isles, and Patrick Langley’s The Variations, well, vibrates with a strange musical psychism rooted in the Cornish landscape, and moving outwards. You’ll be moved.
