Join us for a reading from visiting poet Joan Fleming with support from Richard Scott and Martha Sprackland.

Joan Fleming is the author of The Same as Yes and Failed Love Poems, both from Victoria University Press. Her new collection Dirt is forthcoming with Cordite Books. She holds a PhD in ethnopoetics from Monash University, Melbourne, and is the New Zealand/Aotearoa Commissioning Editor for Cordite Poetry Review.

Richard Scott was born in London in 1981. His pamphlet Wound (Rialto) won the Michael Marks Poetry Award 2016 and his poem crocodile won the 2017 Poetry London Competition. Soho (Faber & Faber) is his first book. He teaches poetry at the Faber Academy.

Martha Sprackland is poetry editor of Poetry London, and founder of Offord Road Books. Martha has published two pamphlets, Glass As Broken Glass (Rack Press, 2017) and Milk Tooth (Rough Trade Books, 2018) which was shortlisted for the Michael Marks Award. Her debut collection is Citadel, forthcoming from Pavilion Poetry in April 2020.
