Stewart Lee and Iain Sinclair are in conversation to celebrate Alan Moore for his 70th birthday. 

 

Alan Moore was born on November 18, 1953 in a working class area of Northampton, England, the son of a brewery worker and a printer. He is most famous for his influential work in comics, including the acclaimed graphic novels Watchmen, V for Vendetta and From Hell, as well as his epic novel Jerusalem. His short story collection Illuminations was published in 2022.

Stewart Lee was born in England in 1968. He has written for radio, television, newspapers and magazines and performed as a stand-up comedian all over the world. His latest show - Basic Lee - is on from December at the Leicester Square Theatre.

Iain Sinclair was born in 1943 in Cardiff. He is one of London's greatest chroniclers, a prolific writer of fiction, poetry and non-fiction, and a film-maker. His exhibition Histories and Hauntings is currently on at Swedenborg House.
