About the Author : Franklyn Addo is a journalist, community worker and artist whose work revolves around the promotion of social justice. He has written articles for publications including The Guardian, The Independent and Sky News, and has been featured in The New Yorker. His productions include a short documentary on crime induced trauma for BBC3 and a narrative about the human consequences of inequality for BBC Radio 4's 'Four Thought' programme. recently co-authored a Manchester University report on racism in UK courts. He uses literature and music to engage with young people in communities, schools and prisons. He will be publishing his debut book A Quick Ting On: Grime in September 2024.
