Join us for the launch of On Christmas Day by The Gentle Author!
During Christmas last year, The Gentle Author shared a festive story with us at Burley Fisher Books. This year, we have published the story in pamphlet form, complete with wood engravings by Reynolds Stone, so the tale can live on. Jonathan Pryce will be reading on the night.
The Gentle Author picks up the threads of Christmas fiction from Charles Dickens, Dylan Thomas and George Mackay Brown to weave a compelling tale of family conflicts ignited and resolved in the festive season.
