She has a PhD in English Literature from UCL, an MA in Eighteenth-Century Studies from King’s College, London, a BA in English Literature from the University of Cambridge, and a Diploma in Fine Art from Camberwell College of Arts. She currently teaches Global and Black British Literature courses at City Lit and has taught in schools, community groups and at UCL.
